Hey!
Been pretty depressed lately.
23M, no job, dependant on my parents, useless degree and no will to do anything.
Reading is the only thing that I still love.
Can anyone suggest books that are gonna give me hope or just make me laugh ?
Thanks

Try the adventures of kavalier and clay.
Project Hail Mary. Its about a guy who is down and has a chance to be a hero.
When I had just graduated college I felt very similar and was given “the Marriage Plot” by Jeffrey Eugenides. Haven’t read it since then, but reading it at the time was very impactful for me.
Tokyo Vice by Jake adelstein, I have a feeling it will help
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot
Range by David Epstein, being Wrong Adventures on the Margin of Error, Flow by Czychzentmihalyi
