What to read as an adult if you loved Goosebumps as a kid?

I still love being scared. I pretty much only read fiction novels (mostly women’s) and manga and love queer themes. My favorite movie genre is horror but I haven’t actually read much horror as an adult. Some recent fave books have been Other People’s Clothes by Calla Henkel; Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin; Cassandra at the Wedding by Dorothy Baker; Slow Days Fast Company by Eve Babitz. I absolutely hated Death In Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh bc it starts out so strong and never appropriately rises to the occasion of the suspense created. Prefer my books to be short, like MAX 300 pages.

I wonder if Goosebumps holds up as an adult?
