    Hey guys

I've been reading books for 3 years now, and after watching me

My girlfriend also wants to start reading books

But all of the books that I've ever read were Non-Fiction

However I looked for a book for her and gifted it to her the book named "It starts with us"

Haha I gave her the 2nd part of the book series (Thought it was the first one because of the name)

But she read it and liked it,

But now I'm not sure which book should I gift to her next

So your help would be really appreciated,

Maybe she's like romance ones as she liked the one she is reading

Ps:- She doesn't have any particular interests yet, As she is just starting reading books

I have several books I recommend reading. The Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa was a really good read. It focuses on Japanese culture and a kitsune trying to stop an evil woman from gaining the last few pieces of a world ending scroll. There’s smut and romance, but it’s been a while since I read it, so I don’t remember between who or where in the book it takes place.

A more children’s level book is Skullduggery pleasant by Derek Landy within the first three books at least there isn’t romance seeing as it follows a 12yo girl and an old skeleton dude that died long before she was born. Basically, what happens in the first book is that she discovers the novels about magic her recently deceased uncle was writing was true and there was another world out there. She pushes herself into Skullduggery’s investigation and together they work on figuring out what is going wrong with the hidden magical world.

They both die at the end is a heart wrenching love story where they both know they were doomed from the beginning. It is a gay love story and idk if that’s something she would be into. If not Adam Silvera recently published The First To Die at the End which I haven’t read but I believe it follows a straight couple. I could be wrong tho I don’t know much about that one.

There’s also the Percy Jackson series if she likes Greek mythology. If she doesn’t Riordan has several others series he himself wrote about different mythologies and there are several other books he has endorsed under the Read Riordan.

Oh another good book that I’m pretty sure is standalone is Ace of Spades. It follows the racism in a private school that’s led to every black student in the past either dropping out or killing themselves. The two black students this year figure out something is going on and they take it upon themselves to figure it out.
