Okay, who said it could be published? Because it feels like a draft, for a real book.

Let's talk about the cover. I decided that I would talk about the covers. It's good. I like two types of covers: 1. Those without spoilers show the essence of the book. 2. Just beautiful covers. This belongs to the second type. A skull, a snake passes through its right eye socket, and yellow roses are next to it. Aesthetically pleasing.

Now about lore. There are Witches and Demons, the first good, the second bad. There are also the princes of hell, representing the seven deadly sins. That's it.

This is the only thing I understood, because the author did not reveal the lore of the universe at all. It's not clear how magic works, why everything works this way. Nothing. Seriously, even the backstory of the feud was written very superficially and left questions. There are also creatures that no one talked about in the book, but they are, and you just want to ask which black hole they fell from.

If you have read the synopsis, I will say that these are the first nine chapters. And this is the best thing in the plot because nothing happens after that. Have you ever played an RPG? Do you remember how you performed quests, walking around some area and walking back and forth? Someone decided to adapt it for the book. Most of time the heroine goes to one person, then to another, and then goes home, thinks, and then everything repeats. And so the whole middle goes by. And the climax is very predictable and dumb. There's also a bunch of Chekhov's guns that didn't fire and stayed hanging. I don't care what they shoot at in other books, they shouldn't work like that.

The two main characters are terrible.

Emilia was tolerant for the first nine chapters. But then, with each page, with each chapter, her character begins to resemble Daffy Duck from the Looney Tunes Show. Well, you know, he does what he was asked not to do, is rude, stupid, thinks highly of himself, the situation gets worse because of him, The only difference between them is that she is not a duck.

Wrath was just boring. He is a typical hero of novels for housewives. He doesn't have a personality, but what kind of abs, what kind of cubes, and even most of the book he's wearing only pants.

And the most terrible thing here is that for a romantic fantasy, the chemistry between them is zero. They spend so little time together and then at an unexpected moment there is love between them. From where? Is unknown.

The Princes of hell differ only in the color of their eyes, otherwise they are the same. The rest are just NPCs selling exposure.

The text is bad. Maybe it's because of the negligent translation (I live in Russia), but the descriptions were absurd, there were too many descriptions of food, which made me feel sick, as well as extremely stupid dialogues.

It was terrible. I don't understand how such a thing could be published.

P.S. It is also unclear in which century everything is happening and I did not understand that everything is happening in Italy, because nothing says about it except the dishes, as I learned later.
