Hello friends! I am looking for your favorite character driven books about romantic relationships. They don’t necessarily have to be happy endings, but those are welcome too! Here’s a few examples of books like these I’ve loved:
Thirst for Salt by Madelaine Lucas. I loved the main character’s reflections on her former lover.
Normal People by Sally Rooney. I loved how ordinary but well written the two main characters were.
Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake. I loved the focus on the main characters’ inner struggles regarding their relationship.
Bonus points for books 300 pages or less as I struggle with focusing on longer books.
