They say reading fiction helps you understand someone else’s world and makes you more empathetic. I’ve found that to be true anyway. But I was thinking recently how, as an able-bodied person, I’ve never read a book about someone living with a disability. I’d love to change that, all recommendations welcome – but fiction only please!
