I have an uncle who has dyslexia, and he’s never been much of a reader. Recently, he discovered that young adult fiction books were just right for him in terms of keeping his interest and being easy enough for him to parse. He started with some adventure type stories (pretty sure he started with Peak by Roland Smith and loved it).
The challenge is that so much YA is fantasy or high school focused, and my uncle is a 60ish year old highly intelligent person, so that’s not really his cup of tea. So- any suggestions for YA fiction he might like?
Other interests of his include woodworking, golf, and home improvement projects.
