Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles –A magic Inn, space werewolves and vampires, a lot of really unique aliens, mystery, romance, action, a fun and humorous series
Jana DeLeon Miss Fortune series and Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich are both laugh out loud light mysteries.

Carl Hiassen’s mysteries are right in this pocket, though you want the grown-up ones instead of the YA ones.
_Razor Girl_, _Bad Monkey_, and _Skinny Dip_ are all great.

I don’t read them anymore but I used to enjoy the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum books. The first one still cracks me TF up.

1. Tress of the Emerald Sea was this for me. The humor is just sprinkled in, the characters are all a bit quirky. It’s a light fantasy adventure so I wouldn’t say it’s suspenseful throughout but it has its moments.
2. Good Omens – also not overly suspenseful but the main characters are great and it’s LOL funny.

The Rosie Project! The characters are plenty quirky, and they’re looking for the leading lady’s biological father, which gets very suspenseful as it goes on.
It’s laugh out loud funny with probably my favorite narrator in all adult fiction
