Can’t say I’m entirely sure what I’m looking for but just some general zombie books that are very good. I’ve never read a zombie book but just been thinking about it over the last few days and like the idea of it.
I’d be interested to read anything in the genre really as long as it’s entertaining, doesn’t have to non-stop action, not expecting that at all but something that’s not a complete slog to get through.

{{World War Z by Max Brooks}}
Until the End of the World – Sarah Lyons Fleming
*The Girl With all the Gifts* by M.R. (Mike) Carey is incredible
Given that half of these posts will recommend WWZ , I’ll suggest Day by Day Armageddon by JL Bourne is the best second place recommendation.
Not all zombie books exactly, but you should try these books:
The Boy on the Bridge by M. R. Carry
The Girl with all the Gifts by M. R. Carry
World War Z by Max Brooks
The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham
The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton
Blindness by Jose Saramago
Oryx and Crake, the series by Margaret Atwood
The Shadow over Innsmouth by Lovecraft
The Scarlett Plague by Jack London
The Children of Men by P.D. James
The Stand by Steven King
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
