The last book I was recommended and enjoyed was The Gargoyle (Andrew Davidson), but that was almost 15 years ago. My opinion is that it's the best love story ever written, and maybe it is because I read it at 15. 🤷♀️
In the meantime, I've been gifted and recommended books, but unfortunately hated them, so I can't contribute to my own thread.

Okay so this probably isn’t a very exciting answer but I was very heavily pressured by a friend to read the ACOTAR series. I hated the first book but was so surprised that I really liked the second book.
