I recently finished The Sound and the Fury and I’m obsessed with it, so I asked my mom if she has ever read it and what she thought. She said that she loved it and that it was the first book she ever read that doesn’t just spell things out for you. She also said that she remembers an uncle or some other family member sexually abusing the kids, but I didn’t pick up on that at all. Am I missing something or is she thinking of a different book?
