Any books like Match Point by Woody Allen? The Possibility of an Island by Michael Houllebecq? response books?

Any genre, but nothing too recent or too popular. I can't stand the new moralists rehashing of YA themes for adults. It's not that I disagree with the morals, it's that I find their discussion bland and immature, their topics too well hashed out to be served by metaphor.

I'd prefer to hear from the other side, the nihilistic, the fourth way type Russians we're so eager to destroy, the communist disregard for the environment or animal suffering, the African fascist/conservative types. Stuff that doesn't come up on Google search, stuff that Liberals suppress and think even criticism of is support. Like a copy of Mien Kmaph or something, but a novel that is definitely worth criticism.

I'm particularly looking for some book that the plot is a response to a troupe, or a philosophical response Like The Possibility of an Island by Michael Houllebecq is as a response to The Island by A. Huxley. Something worth reading someone's boring metaphors for.
