I read every day. Sometimes I will have a few drinks while watching a game. On those days it usually means that I can't read so I just do something else, because it makes it hard to concentrate and maintain the story in my head. However, I have recently discovered a series by David Markson. His Notecard Quartet series is hard to describe but it tries to deconstruct the novel entirely. Mostly consisting of a collection of snippets of text, each of the books manages to be a book without a story, characters, or plot, which is explicitly noted as an objective by the author. I've found that this makes each book very easy to read somehow while tipsy. Has anyone else encountered a book that is easy to read while tipsy?

I find it hard to concentrate after drinking. But I’d say A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson, cause it’s an easy funny read.
