Until this year I have read maybe 4 books since 2010. It started with hunger games. Was a class assignment that turned into my teacher ordering the 3rd book just so I could read it. Then I went cold turkey for a long time. Never had to urge to read anything again. Meet my wife who loves reading and it peaked my interests so discovered fanfics and read a few hunger games ones which was awesome till I got bored again. Then found Legends. Read some if not all of it but didn't go anywhere after that. Over time started watching shows like The 100 and Maze Runner. That's when my wife realized what I liked and started suggesting books to me. This year I started to read Fourth Wing. It was a promise to her thay we would read it together. I got bored and started finally in May. Once I started it has had a grip on my soul. I still read slow and sometimes have to reread lines. But it's been fantastic. But now im.coming to the end and I have a feeling the 2nd book won't take me nearly as long.
All of this to ask what other books would you suggest for someone like me? Series are definitely better of possible. I will pursue The Maze Runner and Legend series but looking for others too. Romance is not a priority but I don't mind a small bit.
