I'm looking for books where Death has been personified and is a character. This might be as a God of Death, as an entity of the veil, as an eldritch being, as a creature of shadows, or more, there are so many ways it can go and I'm interested in how different authors write them.

One of my faves is by Christopher Moore called A Dirty Job
Death appears frequently in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. Most notably in Reaper Man and Soul Music.
The Sandman series of graphic novels by Neil Gaiman
Scythe by Neal Shusterman a great YA in a world where natural death has been eradicated due to technology. To prevent exponential population growth, there are (human) grim reapers who cull the population, essentially acting as Death.
The Book Thief has Death as a narrator
