Hey guys, I used to be a big reader, and binge read the Percy Jackson and lightning thief series as well as Harry Potter. I haven’t been able to find a good series to read, lately and haven’t read a whole book in about 5 years. Suggest me a series that you really liked.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts and discuss the chills and thrills with you all!
Codex Alera by Jim Butcher – epic saga, cool magic system, lots of interesting characters
The Guild Codex by Annette Marie – urban fantasy; snarky protagonists; fun magic system
The Scholomance series by Naomi Novik – probably should have put this first. First book blew me away like I haven’t experienced since Ender’s Game 15 years ago. Amazingly, the second and third books manage to live up to the expectations set by their predecessor(s). Follows a would-be dark sorceress in magic high school.
Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne – hilarious, fun, and fast-paced urban fantasy about a 2,000 year old Druid and his dog living in Arizona
Gregor the Overlander!
If you’re still open to middle grade fantasy, I highly recommend [Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend!
A new Percy Jackson came out, and another is due in September. There’s also the five Jason books, the Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. I’m in my 40s and just reread them all. Sometimes, it’s easier to start with an old favorite.
