Basically what I’m looking for,
1. mlm relationship
2. not super teen angsty (I despise books with rebellious stupid teen protagonists)
3. not LGBTQ+ like heartstopper …iykwim
4. either something like mysterious skin, giovannis room, or the city and the pillar
5. preferably a period drama..not looking for something too modern
6. the queerness is apparently and not ambiguous or given through subtext
7. preferably with religious guilt elements
please…please please please give me recommendations. I am at a complete loss.
and btw, the books at the top of my want list are the rules of attraction, the dove in the belly, and american psycho.
