    1. I’m a huge fan of cyberpunk! Here’s my recommendations:

      * [Blackfish City](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35068768-blackfish-city), good L, G, and genderqueer representation.

      * [Trouble And Her Friends](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/612226.Trouble_and_Her_Friends), classic cyberpunk with great LGB reprsentation, but sadly no trans or nonbinary representation. This is one of the few books that really captures the “queer friend group” vibe.

      * [Hardwired](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/304761.Hardwired), also classic cyberpunk. Good gay representation, *horrible* trans stereotyping. Still, I found it an enjoyable read, and it inspired a lot of later works.

      * [Bang Bang Bodhisattva](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/62919505). I have not read this yet as I am waiting for it to come out in paperback before buying.

      * [Horizons](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1142774.Horizons). The main character is a bisexual woman.

      * [Autonomous](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28209634-autonomous) contains good LGB representation. This book tries to do something interesting by showing robots are agender and humans project gender onto them, but imo it’s not successful at that. Arguably may be too far in the future to be cyberpunk, but I included it here just in case it sounds interesting to you.

      * A couple of short stories available free from Lightspeed Magazine: [Unauthorized Access](https://www.lightspeedmagazine.com/fiction/unauthorized-access/) contains a nonbinary character and [We Are the Cloud](https://www.lightspeedmagazine.com/fiction/cloud/) is about young gay men.

      Honorable mentions that contain *very* minor queer representation:

      * [The Diamond Age](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/827.The_Diamond_Age) is set in a world where queerness is a normal part of society people are aware of, but there are *no* queer characters and no direct discussion of queerness. It’s very subtle, and the author’s later works do include good queer characters but sadly none of those books are cyberpunk.

      * [Synners](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/304806.Synners) contains one vaguely bi/pan side character. There are two men who are very close and I believe they are boyfriends, but this is never confirmed in the text.

      * [City of Golden Shadow](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28695.City_of_Golden_Shadow), first in a series of *enormous* books. Contains one lesbian character, but these are sprawling narratives with about a billion characters so she is only a small part of the story.
