Hi, I’m looking for Sci-Fi books set in space/on space ships.
I have two modes that I like quite a lot:

    1. Silly and fun space exploration/ first contact stories, like Gate Crashers, By: Patrick S. Tomlinson or Bobiverse By: Dennis E. Taylor.

or 2. more serious, lost in space, fighting against odds, on broken ships, doing creative problem solving to get out of sticky situations. Like The Martian, or Project Hail Mary By: Andy Weir, or in part Skyward, By: Brandon Sanderson, or like the TV series Stargate Universe

I’ll be happy for book recommendations in either category, or any other adjacent category that seem relevant.

Bonus points for, female MC, containing other species/ space cultures, available as audio books, bonus for being long books or series.

    1. The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James is good! It’s YA but I still really enjoyed it. I also loved the Children of Time trilogy (the first book is the best) by Adrian Tchaikovsky
