I love spicy romance but I wish some of them had a good balance of spice. I would like 50/50 plot and spicy. Switching POV would be great. I’m open to most sports but hockey (I don’t understand the game and it’s a preference that I do). Limited to no drug or alcohol abuse for some personal reasons. Ik this is everywhere but Im trading in probably 50-60 books and I need some more to read. I’ve read a limited amount of romance because I read about politics only for about 2 years.

Beartown (and series) – no spice/romance, but hits on hockey
Behind the Net
Icebreaker
Second Down Darling (Lex Martin) – Mmc has a kid with the sister of the fmc. It’s in a college setting and hes big in sports. It’s a slow romance obviously they have a lot to work through.
#Nerd (Cambria Hebert) – they drink during College Partys but no abuse as far as i remember. Fmc is the wallflower, he is the jock. There is some bet involved.
Taking Shots (Toni Aleo) – one of my fav in that trope. Fmc weighs a bit more, has hypothyroidism and does photographs for a hockey Team where she gets to meet the mmc. It’s cute and a lot abt trust and self-confidence.
