I have series fatigue and am looking for a good standalone sci-fi/fantasy/speculative/whatever book. I prefer adult or new adult, but I am ok with YA as long as it doesn’t feel too ‘young’. Thanks!
{{The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J Klune}}. Apparently there’s a sequel coming out next year, but this ended perfectly fine IMO so it could definitely be read as a standalone.
