Just finished the book. I am not gonna dissect the book like we do in literature classes but damn Orwell knew what he was doing.
Isn’t Animalism a bit more like communism? Like how everyone’s supposed to be equal only for the root idea to get fucked and fucking megalomaniacs/power hungry POSs spreading propaganda about the people who wanna make a change and change it to their own whims that aligns with their own interests>!(shit they keep spreading about Snowball).!< This is a reference to the current world political situation.
Moreover, Orwell does showcase these political ideologies without even naming the real ones really well other than the obvious ANIMALISM.
>!The false hope provided by Animalism, the sad plight of the loyal animals who believed in Animalism (Boxer & etc.), the ones educated about Animalism but afraid to talk about it (Muriel & Clover), the animals that took advantage of Animalism (The pigs and the dogs ofc), the vanity of animals (Molly), the animals who didn’t give a fuck about any ideologies and just want to live their life with peace (Benjamin)!< all of these corresponds with us the Humans.
Anyways I don’t know what took me so long to read this book but this book teaches reality of life in a way that I never expected. And it’s still relevant to today’s society.
