So it’s established that things can be changed and that there are a lot of alternate timelines that Dan creates. But the book ends with the reveal that Dan’s son is actually him, which would imply that the whole thing is a predetermined loop. So is it alternate timelines, predetermined, or both? My best guess is that it’s both (a bunch of alternate timelines inside of a larger predetermined loop) but I’m not sure at all.
Also, I don’t understand the part of the book where Dan can’t find any other Dan’s. Why can’t he just travel back a short amount of time to where he just was?
Also, it felt like this book ripped “All You Zombies” a little bit.
