Any book recommendations for an 85 year-old female? She probably has a 5th/6th grade reading level.
My grandma likes history, fiction, a little romance. Against-all-odds kind of book would be good too.
Probably no sci-fi.
The last book I gave her in large print was The Vanishing Half. She liked it, but felt like it ended too soon.

Maybe a cozy mystery series? I’m currently working through Second Chance Cat Mystery by Sofie Ryan.
FWIW if you’re open to teaching her, my mom (70s) loves that her kindle lets her make the font as big as possible. It took some set up and time to show her how to pick books from the list in the app but she got into it.
