I just finished “A death in the parish” After only finding “Death before evensong” last week, and I have to say: I loved them both! I was totally bamboozled by the ending of the second book, too—Coles is a great writer. You can tell he’s a voracious reader. I even enjoyed the increased level of “church speak” in book two. It really lends an authenticity to the story and characters.
Anyone else enjoying these?
