I’m not a romance or romantasy person but I’m in the mood for a fantasy romance that’s not corny or tropey and has slow build but fulfilling romance. If anyone has something from the man’s POV that would be preferred, lol.
Romance should be steamy but not too smutty (no mentions of “cock”) but not too vanilla.
I also don’t want the romance to be the MAIN plot, more like a decent subplot.
This might sound really picky and ridiculous lol, I hope someone can help.

Strange the Dreamer (and Muse of Nightmares) amazing worldbuilding with a slice of romance that I was so invested in. The duology is so well done. The audiobook is also really good!
Divine Rivals was a fun read. Might fall into the tropes pitfall, depending on your scale for that
