…a la John le Carré. I’d love anything that you might have read (in the espionage genre, of course), that’s quieter than the bombastic James Bond and Jason Bourne and more in the vein of George Smiley and other le Carré’s creations that focus more on the process and the human elements of the job rather than the fancy gadgets and the incredulous action.
In short, more espionage and less action hero stuff.
