I can’t seem to focus on my current books (I’m in the Murderbot Series right now) because I’m just going through a whole lot of shit right now (and pretty much all the time it seems like).

Suggest me a book that’ll steal my focus away from my high anxiety. Thank you

I hate to admit it but {{Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding}} is cute and a good distraction. It is a very dated book but it still makes me smile.

    2. Shades of Grey (by Jasper Fforde, not the 50 Shades of… version) is a fun read! Everyone is born only being able to see one color and society’s class system is based on the color you see. It’s light hearted and the characters are endearing

    3. *A Psalm for the Wild Built* by Becky Chambers. A great first contact (re-contact?) book between humans who care deeply for the health of their world and a sentient robot from their less caring past.
