I have been reading nonfiction since like 10th grade or so and since have had a TERRIBLE time finding any fiction books that I enjoy. Some that I have in the past were:
-Everything Is Illuminated by Johnathan Safran Foer
-Rick Riordan’s books
-The secret Life of Bees
If anyone has any direction to point me to find something outside of my usual reading, I’d appreciate it!

If you want something completely different from nonfiction, maybe fantasy might be good?

What is it about fiction that you don’t like?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was a super enticing read and felt like real old Hollywood, if that’s your vibe. The main character has Marilyn Monroe energy.
If you like Rick Riordan, might you like some books about Ancient Greek history or Greek mythology? Ditto for Ancient Rome? I have some more… academic references if you’d like to explore the issue, but you’ll probably have more luck at your local library asking for what they have on the topic.
Plus, A Great Divorce on youtube reads aloud posts by History Professor Bret Deveraux, which explain Ancient Greek and Roman history in very accessible ways + are available to listen for free.
