Lately I’ve been reading a lot of self help books (also stormlight archive) cause I’ve been going through some stuff.

I’ve read this in no more Mr nice guy:

As a result of the conditioning they received in their family and society, Nice Guys believe if they are “good,” then they should be loved, get their needs met, and have a problem-free life.
In reality, the primary paradigm of the Nice Guy Syndrome is nothing more than a big covert contract with life.

And I immediately though of like this quote as my affirmation, it closely resembles this one but I’m not sure, it sounded better but the logic is the same:

“Isn’t it more interesting to revel in the full range of human experiences than to limit oneself to being perpetually ‘good’?”

But I dunno. What book do you think it was from?
    Any similar quotes?
