I’m looking for any book that has a psychological horror element, or one that gives off the feeling of complete despair. Fiction or Nonfiction is fine.
Books/Short Stories in reference to what I’m looking for:
– I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream – Harlan Ellison
– The Road – Cormac McCarthy
– The Death of Ivan Ilyich – Leo Tolstoy
– Metamorphosis – Kafka
– Flowers for Algernon – Daniel Keyes
Even if it’s a “helplessness” feeling like Flowers for Algernon, that would work.
Really, even if they don’t fit directly in the mix of these titles, I would still love to hear what you have, Thanks!
