For me, this would be Good Omens by Gaiman and Pratchett, hands down. But im interested to see what other gems you all have that were a collaboration.

I’d like to exclude series where one author takes over for another, like Brandon Sanderson or Anne Hillerman who took over for her father. Or series like Nancy Drew or Star Wars novels that hire a series of authors.

I’d also love to hear about series that have one author listed, but we’re actually co-written. For an example The Expanse Series

For a series, I’d say The Expanse seems like an obvious choice. James S.A. Corey is a pen name for two people, Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. That’s a long series too, quite the collaborative effort honestly. I really enjoyed these books.

I’d also add, for an individual book, This is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. This one surprised me in how much I liked it… and the actual content lol. Definitely hit well with me

    2. Good Omens is excellent. I was recently delighted by This is How You Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone and Amal Al-Mohar, which is an epistolary between two characters and each author wrote one character.

Ilona Andrews is a husband and wife writing team, their Kate Daniels series is a favorite of mine.

Bit of a tangent from Good Omens but I love The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus.
