i’m curious about whether and how education quality impacts communities and countries politically, socially, etc. and questions like whether areas lacking in good systems of education are more likely to be correlated with certain beliefs like conspiracy theories or far right extremism. whether people are actually “getting dumber” or whether our education system is “getting worse” or if it just seems that way from social media and media coverage. and if people are generally thinking less critically or receiving worse education, what could change to improve that and what the future of education could look like. probably focused on america but not necessarily. could be more education system focused or more culture focused but ideally discussing the relationship between the two somehow.
