I read Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella not too long ago, and I haven’t read any books before where the couple was already married and settled and trying to reengnite the flame in thier relationship
I’m looking for more of those, not even just reigniting the flame, but maybe just looking for ways to add something extra into the relationship, just general “refalling in love” plots
And I love drama, so I’m up for a couple working to stay together or overcome something heavy, be it death, betrayal or a big change, etc. something they have to really work through but it’s not easy,
Couples that have been together for a few years at least, are definitely in the “settled down” phase of their lives, like have been married, maybe have a kid or two (could be any ages as well) settled careers, or (because I love drama) one could be on the edge of a big career change, good or bad, and that also adds stress
