As per a respectable adaptation the focus of the film might’ve been different from the book, but brought the setting to life so naturally. Scorsese made a brilliant movie, still challenging himself to push how he tells a story.
Been seeing some disappointment from those who wanted specific scenes but didn’t get them though. Then again I found the pacing perfect so it was probably what had to be done to make it come out exactly as wanted.
