Creator of The Good Place, Michael Schur, wrote a book that is basically a synopsis of the philosophical thought that drove Chidi, one of the main characters of the show. I am quite enjoying it. I like philosophy conceptually but like many people I absolutely cannot stand the way professors of philosophy write. They seem to think making the text drier and harder for people without an MA in philosophy to understand is a good thing. Call me basic (It’s a devastating human insult. You’re devastated.) but I like to enjoy reading a book. So books about ethics that are written for a popular audience, perhaps with a dash of humor? Thanks much.
