So, I was rereading some Stephen King earlier this year, and going through The Dark Half (all about a writer who uses a pseudonym) Thad Beaumont mentions that he took his pseudonym because of Donald Westlake’s Richard Stark. So I thought, why not I’ll check these out.
This lead me to devour the Dortmunder series and I just finished book 5 in the Parker series. Safe to say, I’m hooked and need more like these two series. I love the heists and banter, how different the Dortmunder crew is from Parker. The cold blooded efficiency, and the bumbling luck their way into a score style. Hoping to keep it in the crime genre if possible. I have also read the entire Flecth series if that helps.
