I just finished The Family Game by Catherine Steadman, and while I enjoy the genre and the setup of the book, there were many plot holes and things that went left unexplained.
I recently read None Of This Is True by Lisa Jewell which I liked better, yet the ending was also not as satisfying as I hoped.
The best book in this genre that I’ve read is probably Gone Girl and I’m looking for something equally as satisfying and thrilling.
