looking for a fantasy book/series that isn’t a chosen one destined to defeat the great evil /nor drama over a crown types.
***I once read this Y/A where the entire book was about someone stuck in a book and trying to think of ways to get that person out of the book.***
***Or like Stardust person jumps the wall to a magical land and tries to find some stardust for his gf but is surprised to see the star is a real person. Other people hunt her but not in a end of the world type of way.***
Or Night circus two magic wielders forced to compete verse one another but not in a typical battle way nor do they want to or is the fate of the world in their hands.

Captivating but not end of the world types. They can have evil people trying to kill the good guy I just don’t want them to be the ultra powerful bad guy with no weakness type.
