So not long ago I just read that a lot of fantasy has this motif that the word is crumbling/dying, losing its magic or just in a dark age or something similia if I had to guess it is Tolkien influence on this genre.
I thought a lot about it and find it that I cannot recall anything which is not like this with the exemption of some japanese fantasy Ligh novels.
Do you have books which have a budding and alive and very strongly magical word in them.
I mostly in the mood for happy stories but you can send anything which is not depressing…thought (I would be interested in knowing how would some write a depressing story in a non-dark fantasy word setting but I am really not in the mood for any sad stories.)
I prefer some humor in stories so that’s a great plus for me.
Please no depressing stories!!!
There are probably a lot of light novels which might fit for what I am looking for I don’t know what are the feelings about them in this sub but I know that some are stongly against them BUT like them so if you know any send them in my way.
