Any genre would do!
I’d love to get suggestions of books you’ve reread multiple times maybe? Or favorite books that are written by non-white authors. Better if these authors were born and raised outside the US or Europe, so that much of their work is influenced by their native environment or communities.

Corregidora by Gayl Jones is a woefully under-discussed masterpiece.
I would highly recommend ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ by Khaled Hosseini. It is a heart-wrenching story and has stayed with me for many years.
