Currently reading The Brothers Karamazov and am about halfway through and have a question.

>! I just finished the last chapter in Book 8 where Mitya (Dmitri Fyodorovich Karamazov) gets arrested. But he’s getting arrested for the murder of his father, Fyodor Pavlovoch Karamzov, whereas I was almost certain a few chapters ago he encountered Grigory who chased him and grabbed his leg as he jumped the fence and struck him with the brass pestle that he maybe killed as he didn’t seem sure about it at the time. Regardless, I am confused because they are arresting him for the murder of his father and not the murder of Grigory. Did I miss something? !<
