Can someone recommend me a good fantasy book?
I‘m looking for a good book to read or listen to, I usually like most books in this genre but I really like books that take place in todays time or slightly around the current century. I don’t really care about that type of fantasy, if I had a choice I’d say I like superpowers in any way. My second favorite would be anything that’s somewhat based of science if that makes sense? Here are some books I really liked:
1. night watch from Sergej lukyanenko (even though I hated some of the political views the author sometimes mentioned but I loved the world building and the power fantasy in this story)
2. steelheart/firefight/calamity from Brandon Sanderson (loved the powers)
3. stone man from Luke Smitherd
4. bloodsong from Anthony Ryan
5. monster hunter by Larry correia
6. the awakening by Andreas brandhorst
7. children of time by Adrian Tchaikovsky
I really appreciate anything that comes close to these books. Thank you 🙂
