Looking for recommendations for books on a variety of topics: grief, love, self-help. For context, I’m a woman in my early 20s and thought I knew what my life would look like for the foreseeable future, but my boyfriend passed away recently (unknown heart condition, very unexpected) and my sense of security has been shattered.
Some topics I’d be interested in:
Navigating your 20’s/ early adulthood
Being the best version of yourself
Finding love after loss
Creating a meaningful life
How to understand yourself (thought processes, emotions, etc) better
I have read Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl which some people may recommend and really enjoyed it: Steppenwolff by Herman Hesse is also another one.
I would accept fiction/nonfiction recommendations, or even any good and well-written books that include some of these concepts as themes: they do not have to directly address the topic itself. I am also a musician, which may help tailor recommendations. If possible please recommend books with a positive/uplifting spirit as well.
Thank you all in advance!
