I know that this is not the most common thing to ask about, but I was interested if there are any books of where a Soviet soldier is stationed in the Eastern Bloc and falls in love with someone there; preferrably mostly romantic – I don’t mind the occasional hinting or sex scene, but I don’t want to read an explicit book.
Edit: I have thought, and I realised that the nationality does not matter, but the relationship of ‘soldier of occupying power and local person’
