I recently bought a copy of Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury on eBay after I loaned my copy to a friend (who is now banned from borrowing books) and they wrecked it. I found a first edition for almost the same price as the newer ones and am very excited.
What do you guys think, do you care about editions? I’ve never really cared before but I thinki am excited because it’s my second favorite book. My favorite book is The Prophet by Khalil Gibran so no way I am getting a first edition of that lol.

No, I just try to find the cover I like best. But it *is* fun to find early editions. I have a very old copy of Heidi that I bought for 35 cents at a yard sale.
Yes I’m always looking for first editions. Many used book store owners don’t realize that they are hard to find and worth money, so if u take time to look you can find them super cheap
