I posted this about a year ago, but I’m about to make the same road trip again so I’m looking for another audiobook.

Preferably a horror, thriller, mystery, or suspense book.

If it can fit into one or more of these categories, that’d be awesome. But I’m up for anything.

    – Celtic and Nordic parts of Europe.

    – Folklore creatures. (Specifically Native American, Indigenous Australian people, Nordic and Celtic, and Asian.)

    – Cryptozoology or cryptids (especially Bigfoot)

    – Thaslaphobic.

    – Claustrophobic.

    – Survival stories where people have to survive against nature of humans against the odds. Like a “one man army” style in an isolated location.

    – Anything where dogs play a major role.

    – Anything with a corporate or governmental conspiracy.

The Terminal List by Jack Carr

Fit into your “Anything with a corporate or governmental conspiracy.” Navy seal gets set up by higher ups in the government to take the fall for a secret experimental program.

Devolution by Max Brooks. Techno hippie remote workers get cut off by a natural disaster and then have to defend themselves against Bigfoot

Coyote Blue by Christopher Moore isn’t a survival story, but the MC is a white passing culturally disconnected Crow man whose safe little life is shattered when Coyote (the Indigenous trickster god) shows up and decides to mess with him.

Look up Lord of the Rings LoreCast on Apple Podcasts. Free and AWESOME if you’re into LOTR.
