I’m starting my degree in September and would love to get a head start reading some good non fiction counselling/psychotherapy books to help prep me.

Do any of you lovely people have any suggestions for me?

    Thanks ☺️

*Adult children of emotionally immature parents* by Lindsay Gibson has been a helpful book for me in understanding a range of behaviors. I’ve also heard of several counselors and therapists recommending it to patients.

*Unmasking autism* by Devon Price would be helpful for when you inevitably encounter autistic patients. I’m autistic and it’s the best book on autism I’ve found so far.
