So what I am looking dor is for a book in where the protagonists are lovers but somethings happen and one of them leave the other / breaks and now they are in opposite sides of the war/conflict but even after all the time they have been separated they still love each other. I dont care if it is a happy ending or not, just want thta angst and yearning. Does a book like this exists?
