Recommendations Exclusive System novels
Hey!
I’m looking for novels similar to “The Innkeeper” in which the MC gets a system that allows him to get an Inn with magical attractions.
To help you in giving relevant recommendations, here is what I liked about the story(No Spoil) :
-The MC is not a vilain
-The MC uses the system while staying on gard about it’s potential dangers
-The MC can do stuff to unlock new rooms/functions for his system /Inn (I love this kind of “skill tree” aspect where he unlocks more and more different stuff)
-The MC has advantage thanks to his system / Inn but it’s mostly how he uses it that matters
-The missions giving unique objects as rewards
-The fact the MC has to play the role of a powerful character when he’s not (I love the tension about if his act will be seen through)
-There is no romance
-The character is smart
-While powerful in his “weigh category” he is weak compared to the most powerful people
-The tone of the story with some humour but also serious scenes
I also liked getting a Technology System in Modern Day
For:
-Kingdombuilding aspect
-New tech unlocked
-Smart protagonist
-Moral protagonist
I also liked “This game is too realistic”
For:
-The base being unlocked little by little with new stuff
-The use of “players” and how they are coaxed into doing what the MC wants
-The missions and their weird rewards
Overall, if you have recommendations of novels where the MC gets unique stuff and “unlocks” more and more unique stuff that he has to use smartly to get an advantage, feel free to recommend them!
I am mostly interested in webnovels but feel free to suggest other writen formats! (I’m not into webtoon/comics/manga)
